En: "Help, Mikko, my ankle hurts!"

Fi: hän huusi.
En: she cried out.

Fi: Mikko juoksi heti Ainon luokse.
En: Mikko immediately ran to Aino.

Fi: "Oletko kunnossa?"
En: "Are you okay?"

Fi: hän kysyi huolestuneena.
En: he asked worriedly.

Fi: Aino pudisti päätään.
En: Aino shook her head.

Fi: "Nil
kkaani sattuu.
En: "My ankle hurts.

Fi: En voi kävellä."
En: I can't walk."

Fi: Mikko mietti hetken.
En: Mikko thought for a moment.

Fi: "Meidän täytyy löytää apua.
En: "We need to find help.

Fi: Tai ehkä voin kantaa sinut pois täältä," Mikko sanoi päättäväisesti.
En: Or maybe I can carry you out of here," Mikko said decisively.

Fi: Hän nosti Ainon varovasti selkäänsä.
En: He carefully lifted Aino onto his back.

Fi: "Pidä minusta kiinni, Aino!"
En: "Hold on to me, Aino!"

Fi: Mikko kantoi Ainon pois metsäpolulta.
En: Mikko carried Aino off the forest path.

Fi: He näkivät kaukana penkin.
En: They saw a bench in the distance.

Fi: "Tuolla, istu siinä hetki," Mikko sanoi.
En: "There, sit there for a moment," Mikko said.

Fi: Hän laski Ainon varovasti penkille.
En: He gently set Aino down on the bench.

Fi: Mikko soitti puhelimella apua.
En: Mikko called for help on his phone.

Fi: Pian apu saapui ja Aino sai ensiapua.
En: Soon, help arrived, and Aino received first aid.

Fi: "Kiitos, Mikko.
En: "Thank you, Mikko.

Fi: Ilman sinua en olisi päässyt tänne," Aino sanoi kiitollisena.
En: Without you, I wouldn't have made it here," Aino said gratefully.

Fi: "Ei kestä," Mikko vastasi hymyillen.
En: "You're welcome," Mikko replied, smiling.

Fi: "En jätä ystävää pulaan."
En: "I won't leave a friend in trouble."

Fi: He istuivat hetken hiljaa, katsellen puiden lehvästöjä ja kuunnellen kaupungin ääniä.
En: They sat quietly for a moment, watching the foliage of the trees and listening to the sounds of the city.

Fi: "Pitäisikö meidän nyt mennä kotiin?"
En: "Should we go home now?"

Fi: Mikko kysyi.
En: Mikko asked.

Fi: Aino nyökkäsi.
En: Aino nodded.

Fi: He lähtivät hitaasti kävelemään kohti Ainon kotia.
En: They slowly started walking towards Aino's home.

Fi: Ainon nilkka parani ajan myötä.
En: Aino's ankle healed over time.

Fi: He oppivat varovaisemmiksi ja jatkossa olivat tarkempia polulla.
En: They became more cautious and were more careful on the path from then on.

Fi: Mutta yksi asia ei muuttunut – heidän ystävyytensä vahvistui entisestään.
En: But one thing didn't change – their friendship grew even stronger.

Fi: Helsingin Keskuspuisto oli edelleen paikka, jossa he lenkkeilivät.
En: Helsinki's Central Park was still a place where they jogged.

Fi: Nyt he vain tekivät sen rauhallisemmin, nauttien jokaisesta askeleesta yhdessä.
