Story Transcript:
Ga: Lá breá samhraidh a bhí ann, agus shocraigh Cian agus Aoife turas a dhéanamh go hÁillte an Mhothair, áit a raibh radharcanna iontacha le feiceáil a fhad le súil.
En: It was a beautiful summer’s day, and Cian and Aoife decided to take a trip to the Cliffs of Moher, where there were wonderful sights to behold as far as the eye could see.

Ga: Bhí an ghrian ag scoilteadh na gcloch agus an ghaoth ag séidean go séimh thart timpeall orthu agus iad ag siúl cois farraige.
En: The sun was splitting the rocks and the gentle wind was blowing around them as they walked along the seaside.

Ga: Cian, fear óg lúfar le gruaig rua agus gáire mór leathan, bhí sé i gcónaí lán de scéalta agus craic.
En: Cian, a young man with red hair and a wide, hearty laugh, was always full of stories and fun.

Ga: Aoife, a chara, cailín álainn le súile gorma mar an spéir, ní raibh sí chomh dána céanna ach bhí sí fiosrach faoi shaol.
En: Aoife, his friend, a beautiful girl with eyes as blue as the sky, wasn’t as outgoing but was curious about life.

Ga: Ar an lá sin, bhí Cian ag iarraidh rud éigin speisialta a dhéanamh, rud a chuirfeadh gáire ar aghaidh Aoife agus a chruthódh cuimhne a mhairfeadh go deo acu.
En: On that day, Cian wanted to do something special, something that would bring a smile to Aoife’s face and create a memory that would last forever.

Ga: Amuigh ar imeall na hÁillte, áit ar bhreathnaigh siad síos ar na tonnta foréigneacha ag briseadh i gcéin, mhol Cian go rincefadh siad port Éireannach le chéile.
En: Out on the edge of the Cliffs, where they looked down at the crashing waves in the distance, Cian suggested they dance an Irish jig together.

Ga: Bhí an smaoineamh craiceáilte dar le Aoife ach níorbh fhada go raibh dlúthchara na hóige tar éis a lámh a shíneadh agus a spontáineacht a dhúisigh.
En: It was a playful idea according to Aoife, but it wasn’t long before a close friend of their youth reached out his hand and awakened their spontaneity.

Ga: Thosaigh siad ag preabarnach agus iad ag gáire os ard, ag rince le céimeanna bríomhara an damhsa traidisiúnta.
En: They started bouncing and laughing loudly, dancing to the lively steps of the traditional dance.

Ga: Níor thug siad faoi deara, ach de réir a chéile, tháinig slua turasóirí le chéile thart orthu, meallta ag an gceol ón bhfliúit a sheinn Cian óna póca agus ag an radharc den bheirt ógánaigh ag rince go sona sásta ar bharr an domhain.
En: Unnoticed by them, but gradually, a crowd of tourists gathered around them, lured by the music from Cian’s flute and the sight of the two young ones happily dancing at the top of the world.

Ga: Bhí na daoine ag bualadh bos agus ag acmhainn le háthas agus iad ag breathnú ar an taispeántas gan choinne seo.
En: People clapped and cheered with joy as they watched this unexpected performance.

Ga: In am ar bith, bhí Aoife agus Cian ina réaltaí gan choinne, agus gach duine sa slua ag gáire agus an grian ag scalladh ós a gcionn.
En: For a moment, Aoife and Cian were untouchable stars, and everyone in the crowd was laughing with the sun beaming above them.

Ga: Le críoch an rince, ba léir go raibh nasc draíochtúil cruthaithe eatarthu agus an slua mór a bhí bailithe timpeall orthu.
En: With the end of the dance, it was clear that a magical connection had been made between them and the large crowd gathered around.

Ga: Bhí gach duine sona, an lúcháir ag pléascadh ina gcroíthe.
En: Everyone was happy, the joy bursting in their hearts.

Ga: Nuair a tháinig an rince chun críche, shín Cian agus Aoife a lámha ar fud an tslua, ag cuimilt allais ach lán le sonas.
En: When the dance came to an end, Cian and Aoife reached their hands out to the crowd, panting but full of happiness.

Ga: Bhí turas na hÁillte claochlaithe acu ina eachtra ba chuir gáire ar gach duine a bhí i láthair.
En: Their trip to the Cliffs had turned into an adventure that brought laughter to everyone present.

Ga: Bhí an lá sin ag an gCliffs of Moher ina chuimhne shíoraí dóibh, agus cuimhne a spreagfadh aoibhneas i gcroí gach éinne a bhí ann.
En: That day at the Cliffs of Moher would be a forever memory for them, and a memory that would inspire joy in the hearts of all who were there.

Ga: Tá siúl ar imeall an domhain uaireanta dainséarach, ach uaireanta eile, is féidir le siúl dána mar sin draíocht a chur le saol daoine – seo an ceacht a d’fhoghlaim Cian agus Aoife an lá sin, os cionn dtonnta glasa agus spéir gan deireadh.
En: Walking on the edge of the world can be sometimes dangerous, but at other times, it can add magic to people’s lives – this was the lesson Cian and Aoife learned that day, above the green waves and endless sky.

Ga: Leanfaidh a gcroíthe ag damhsa, agus gach céim acu ina gceol, fad is atá an lá iontach sin i gcuimhne acu.
En: Their hearts will continue to dance, and every step of theirs will be to music, as long as they remember that wonderful day.
