He: אבי היה בדרכו לדוכן פלאפל בתל אביב כדי לקבל ארוחת צהריים.
En: My father was on his way to a falafel stand in Tel Aviv to get lunch.

He: כל הכבוד לו, הוא רצה להיות בריא ולא לאכול דברים לא בריאים.
En: Kudos to him, he wanted to be healthy and not eat unhealthy things.

He: אך משהו השתבש בדרכו.
En: But something went wrong.

He: כאשר הגיע לרחוב המכללה, אבי לא מצא את הדוכן של פלאפל איפה שציפה שימצא אותו.
En: When he got to College Street, my father didn't find the falafel stand where he expected to find it.

He: ולאחרונה, רכבי המסעדות הכבדים והמפוארים התחילו להתפשט ברחוב.
En: And recently, the heavy and fancy restaurant cars started to spread on the street.

He: אבי היה מתקשה להתאפס מהפתעה כאשר הוא איבד את דרכו לדוכן האהוב עליו.
En: My father had a hard time recovering from surprise when he lost his way to his favorite stand.

He: סביבו ציוד זר ופריטים חדשים שאף פעם לא ראה לפני.
En: Around him are foreign equipment and new items that he has never seen before.

He: הוא המשיך ללכת ברחובות ולחפש אחר השלדות מוכרים.
En: He continued to walk the streets looking for familiar chassis.

He: בסוף, אבי מצא דלת המסעדת רולינג סושי ונכנס.
En: In the end, my father found the door of the Rolling Sushi restaurant and entered.

He: הוא גילה את סושי הראשונים שלו שיווק לפני שנה בטיול זוגי ביפן.
En: He discovered his first sushi marketing a year ago on a couple's trip to Japan.

He: הוא שבר ירך בטיול והיווה מצוץ בזמן שהם טסו אז לא יכלו ללכת לאכול בכלל.
En: He broke his hip on the trip and was a sucker while they were flying so couldn't go eat at all.

He: זה היה כמו חקירה חדשה בטעם, בצבע ובריח.
En: It was like a new exploration in taste, color and smell.

He: כך, אבי התחיל לאכול את הסושי החדש שלו וגילה תאמינו או לא, שזה יותר טעים מכמה פעמים פלאפל ששתה לכל הפחות.
En: So, my father started eating his new sushi and found out, believe it or not, that it tastes better than a few falafel times he had at least.

He: הוא אכל סושי בכל פעם שהוא היה מעביר בפניו המסעדה, וכנראה הפך לקוח קבוע בסוף.
En: He ate sushi every time he passed the restaurant, and probably became a regular customer in the end.

He: המסקנה היא שלעיתים קרובות, אם אתה אובד ולא מצליח למצוא את מה שאתה מחפש, יש לבחור באפשרויות חדשות ולנסות דברים חדשים.
En: The bottom line is that often, if you're lost and can't find what you're looking for, you have to choose new options and try new things.

He: ממש כמו אכילת סושי שבסוף נעזרה לאבי למצוא את האוכל הטעים יותר.
En: Just like eating sushi which in the end helped my father find the tastier food.
