Story Transcript:
En: One sunny afternoon in a small but well-known tavern in the heart of Belgrade, friends Jelena, Marko, and Milica decided to spend the evening there.

En: The tavern was already filled with a cheerful atmosphere, and the musicians were getting ready to perform traditional folk music.

En: Jelena, a smiling brunette, was excited about going out with her best friends.

En: Marko, fun and always ready for a joke, was telling one of his funny stories, while Milica, quiet and careful, carefully chose appetizers for their table.

En: The performance began. The violinist was wailing with his instrument, and the accordion player added a melody that made everyone in the tavern clap to the rhythm.

En: At that moment, while the waiter was carrying drinks, Jelena turned to say something to Milica and accidentally bumped into him.

Sr: Oh, ta nezgoda! Čaša rakije se izlila, tačno u Markov krilo.
En: Oh, what a mishap! The glass of brandy spilled right into Marko’s lap.

Sr: Iz Markovih usta izletelo je iznenađeno “Iju!”
En: A surprised “Oops!” escaped from Marko’s mouth.

En: But instead of anger, his face turned into a smile, and he started laughing out loud.

Sr: Okolina se takođe nasmejala Markovoj reakciji.
En: The surroundings also laughed at Marko’s reaction.

Sr: Neko je uzviknuo, “Pazi, rakija krsti!” što je izazvalo još više smeha.
En: Someone shouted, “Watch out, the brandy is baptizing you!” which caused even more laughter.

En: Marko shouted, “It’s okay, it needs to be washed in good liquor!”

En: Milica quickly brought a napkin, while Jelena apologized, blushing.

En: However, Marko waved to indicate that everything was fine.

En: The evening continued in a cheerful atmosphere. The music once again filled the room, and dancing began as the friends forgot about the small mishap.

En: Jelena was happy to have friends like Marko and Milica, who understood that mistakes happen.

Sr: Kakav finale!
En: What a finale! The musicians played an encore, people sang, and the tavern pulsated with the joys of life.

En: The three friends, united by the story of spilled brandy and Marko’s funny mishap, concluded the evening with a hug and a promise to meet again soon at their favorite tavern, where drinks, song, and laughter are always welcome.
