Story Transcript:
Sr: Jedne vedre prolećne večeri, Milan je ušao u poznatu kafanu u centru grada.
En: One cheerful spring evening, Milan entered a well-known tavern in the city center.

Sr: Društvo su mu pravili stari prijatelji, vesela Jovana i mudri Nikola.
En: Accompanying him were his old friends, joyful Jovana and wise Nikola.

En: The lights softly glowed, and the music filled the room.

En: A table by the window was free, waiting for the three of them.

En: They settled in, enjoying the privacy that this corner provided them.

En: Milan, always fond of jokes, decided to order coffee, but made a mistake in doing so.

Sr: Umesto svoje omiljene crne kafe, izgovorio je “vruću vodu”.
En: Instead of his favorite black coffee, he said “hot water” by mistake.

En: The waiter, raising an eyebrow, simply nodded and left.

En: When he returned with a cup of hot water, Milan’s surprise was visible, but he did not want to admit the mistake.

Sr: Sa svesnom odlučnošću, gledao je konobara i rekao: “Ah, tačno kako sam želeo.
En: With determined resolve, he looked at the waiter and said, “Ah, just what I wanted.

En: Nothing wakes up the spirit like a cup of hot water.”

En: Jovana chuckled softly, and Nikola expressed doubt with a glance that shifted from Milan to the waiter and back.

En: The waiter, confused but professional, just shrugged and asked if anyone else wanted “something special” like Milan.

En: The conversation continued smoothly, and Milan attempted to drink his “coffee,” occasionally making faces that his friends barely ignored.

Sr: Kako veče odmiče, smeh i šale ispunjavaju vazduh, a Milanova vruća voda postala je šala večeri.
En: As the evening progressed, laughter and jokes filled the air, and Milan’s hot water became the joke of the evening.

En: Jovana, who couldn’t stop laughing, suggested that they actually order real coffee for Milan, who, after the joke, had no choice but to join in the laughter.

Sr: Na kraju, svaki zalutali pogled ka Milanovoj šolji izazvao je nove talase zadovoljstva među prijateljima.
En: In the end, every stray glance at Milan’s cup caused new waves of delight among the friends.

En: Milan eventually admitted his mistake and ordered the real coffee, much to the general satisfaction of the group.

En: The waiter, with a smile, served them, happy that enjoyment and joy accompanied their time in the tavern.

En: Milan learned a lesson – in the company of good friends, even a mistake in ordering can become a cherished memory.

En: The evening ended with warm coffee, hugs, and promises to meet again in their favorite tavern, where this funny event will undoubtedly be remembered for a long time.
